H e l l o !
I live in Eagan, MN and graduated from St. Olaf College '16 with a degree in Biology. The sciences interest and challenge me like my abstract paintings- they are complex, wondrous, and demanding.
Although I am schooled in science, I was a born artist; I have found no other tool to better express my thought-life than a white canvas, a blank page, or a camera to say what I cannot articulate with words.
My artwork has become a critical escape from my chronic health conditions. Over the last four years, I have been diagnosed with persistent postural-perceptual dizziness, migraineous vertigo, IBS, and fibromyalgia – all of which have been arduous to say the least. Being forced out of normal life, parts of college, social events, and out of work when you are in your twenties is awful. But it also gave me something unexpectedly wonderful: time and opportunity to focus on my identity as an artist that I would not have had otherwise.
My work has previously been on display at:
Sencha Tea Bar in Minneapolis, MN
August - September 2017, and April - May 2018.
Pop-up Art Shop via RAW ARTISTS on Feb. 14 2018.
The Petite Salon, Minneapolis MN August - November 2018.
The Makers Market on Grand, Grand Ave St. Paul MN March 30th 2019.
Griffin Art Gallery Edina MN May 2019 - Present.
